KLNZ35 – Happy Cowboy

This is track experience is suitable for beginners of high-altitude cross-country running and hiking.

The track runs uphill along the ridgeline of Haizigou, facing Yaomei Peak, until Zhongliangzi. Zhongliangzi is 4070 meters above sea level. It has an excellent angle to view the south wall of Yaomei Peak. On the left side, you can overlook the panoramic view of Changping Valley, and Bomu Peak, opposite Yaomei Valley, also stands as steep as a pyramid. Go straight down from Zhongliangzi into Changpinggou, go around the dry tree beach and Xiaganhaizi, and turn back. The road back to the end is mainly downhill. After passing the Lamasery, there is a slight climb.

32km
DISTANCE
1,805m
ASCEND
1,805m
DESCEND
3
PEAKS
3
CHECKPOINTS
12h
CUTOFF
