Siguniang is the most popular ice-climbing destination in China. Its ice walls are endowed with unique resources. Looking around the world, it is comparable to the Canadian Rockies, the European Alps, the Norwegian fjords, and Ouray in the United States. The advantages of Siguniang Mountain are reflected in the large scale and high concentration of ice walls, suitable ambient temperature, good proximity, strong reception capacity, and high altitude.<\/p>\n<p>Siguniang Mountain ice climbing activities are mostly concentrated in Shuangqiaogou. On both sides of the 38-kilometer-long canyon in Shuangqiaogou, more than 100 natural ice walls are condensed every winter. Ice lovers are dotted among them.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the ice walls are distributed between 3,200 meters and 4,000 meters above sea level. There are single-segment lines with a height of tens of meters and multi-segment lines with a height of several hundred meters.<\/p>\n<p>The Siguniang Mountain Ice Climbing Festival originated from the 2010 Ice and Snow Carnival and the first Ice Climbing Festival was held in 2010. Each person is limited to 1 ice climbing experience.
